Mushroom Pizza

I made pizza. Okay, so the crust wasn't homemade, but I'm not a superwoman. This recipe is super easy to make and so delicious. Mushroom's don't have to be on the pizza, any topping can really be used, but I love those little things.

Mushroom Pizza
2 cups of mushrooms, sliced
2 tbsp of oil
1 tbsp of butter
1 tube of refrigerated pizza dough (found by the biscuits, croissants, etc...)
1 can of tomato sauce
2 tsp of fresh or dried oregano
2 tsp of parmesan cheese
1 tsp of salt
1/2 tsp of sugar
1/2 tsp of pepper
1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
5 basil leaves, julienned

Preheat the oven to 400'. Heat a frying pan over medium heat.

Melt the butter and the oil in the frying pan, then add in the mushrooms.

Cook the mushrooms over medium heat until caramelized and golden. Transfer to a bowl.

Meanwhile, spread out the pizza dough and make the sauce. Add the salt, pepper, sugar, and oregano to the tomato sauce and stir to incorporate.

Top the dough with the sauce, the cheese, the mushrooms, and finally the basil.

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden.
