Bacon Wrapped Asparagus
a package of maple flavored bacon
a bunch of asparagus, tough ends removed
the juice of one lemon
salt & pepper
Preheat the oven to 350'. Line a baking sheet with tin foil.
Taking one piece of bacon, wrap it around the asparagus stalk, overlapping so that the asparagus stalk is no longer showing. Repeat until you run out of bacon or asparagus, in my case it was asparagus.
Place the wrapped asparagus on the baking sheet, fairly close together, but not touching. Sprinkle the asparagus with the salt and pepper, and then with the lemon juice.
Bake until the bacon is crisp, and the asparagus is tender, about 20 minutes.
