1 1/2 lbs of ground hamburger
1 1/2 tbsp Mrs. Dash plus 2 tsp
1/2 tsp of ground black pepper
1/2 of an onion, minced
1 tsp of garlic, minced
Half of a head of iceburg lettuce, shredded
1 1/2 tbsp of mayo
La Victoria Red Taco Sauce
White corn tortillas
Mexican style shredded cheese
Diced avocados, optional
Oil, for frying
In a skillet, brown the ground hamburger, smashing it into little pieces as it cooks. As it's cooking, add the onion, 1 1/2 tablespoons of Mrs. Dash, pepper, and garlic. Cook until the meat is browned, and no more pink pieces appear.
Combine the lettuce, mayo, and 2 teaspoons of Mrs. Dash in a bowl. The lettuce should be just coated with the mayonnaise, not soggy.
In another skillet, heat enough oil to coat the bottom of the pan. Fry the corn tortillas until crispy, but not so crispy that you can't fold them into a taco shape.
To assemble: Top a fried corn tortilla with the hamburger meat, then a line of shredded cheese, then a line of La Victoria's Taco Sauce, and finally the lettuce mixture and avocado if desired.
These tacos are amazing. Once you eat one, you're not going to be able to stop.
